January 2007

I recently challenged some "charimatic hecklers" to come on our show and defend many of "charimania's" wacko doctrines... and in classic coward fashion they ran when I made the offer. I call these two cowards "hecklers" because they frequently get on Bob Wise's website and throw curses at him and put down the ministry that he does. It was from these comments that I started a dialogue with them. Of the many issues that came up, Rod Parsley's promise that after sending him $50 I would not be able to make any bad decisions for a year, was one that came up. Again, when I pressed for an actual Bible defense of this I was met with the classic charimatic cursings and telling me how un-spiritual I was, etc. I am still waiting for one of these heckling charismatics to actually Biblically defend what they allow thier "leaders" to say.

December 2006

We were recently challenged to debate the idea of polygamy. After some discussion I volunteered to take this challenge on; however, after a few emails the hope of an actual debate faded away. The premise, which I initially mis-understood, was that Polygamy was right and Monogamy was wrong! I couldn't believe that one! I would have gladly debated this on the show but, as I said, things went south. During our email correspondance the individual made some points; however, his emails were also peppered with rants about how we as monogamists don't really care about people, etc. You wouldn't believe the psychotic rants he would go on in these emails. Due to this I called it off. We may not have many listeners, but I want the ones that do listen to not be subjected to such mindless jabber. Maybe one day, someone SANE will debate us.

March 2006

I recently challenged Dan Corner of the "Evangelical Outreach" to a debate on Eternal Security. He has an open invitation on his website to debate on radio; however, he has refused to debate me. I don't know why, he simply stated that it "wasn't what he had in mind" (concerning our Internet Radio Show). I then offered to debate him on the show in several different formats, in book format and/or several other creative ideas. He did not response to my second email.

Mr. Corner has a large devil on his website defending the doctrine of Eternal Security. I figured a person who would post such a bold statement (as to say folks like us were teaching doctrines of devils) would jump at a debate. Oh well, maybe our Ministry just isn't big enough for him. Maybe it's because I don't have 30 Master's degree's... I frankly don't know, I just know I challenged and he ran from the opportunity.
