We at Keeping It Simple have began podcasting our Internet Radio Show! Instead of coming to hear the show, now it can come to you. You don't need an iPod, just iTunes (iTunes can be downloaded for free at Apple.com).
Once you have iTunes, it is really simple...
(1) Open up iTunes,
(2) go to the “Advanced” menu,
(3) click on “Subscribe to Podcast...”
(4)...now paste the following URL below in the box and hit “OK”. It should subscribe you.
THE URL ---> feed://www.kism-nc.org/podcast.rss
iTunes will then subscribe you and download the lastest show. Note that only the lastest show will download. Other past shows that are available can be seen but you will have to click on the "GET" button to download them. The good thing is that everytime you open iTunes from now on, it will go and retreive that latest show for you and begin the download. If it doesn't, simply click on the word, "Podcasts" in the top of the left hand menu box. Then click the "Update" button in the top right hand corner. This will "manually" retrieve the show.
We compress our shows as much as is possible so that they will download promptly.
